SoM Beginners’ Courses for 2020-2021 are now full

The School of Music would like to inform the general public that we are no longer receiving applications for next academic year for the beginner’s courses because they are already oversubscribed.  The ever-popular Introduction to Music for 6 – 7 year old (recently rebranded as Music Makers), MKU Preparatory for 8 – 10 year olds and MKU Introductory for students older than 11 years, were filled within a few days, including all places allocated on the school’s waiting list. All students who applied for these courses will be sitting for an age-appropriate audition and induction programme to secure their place at the school.

There are still a few places remaining on the School’s regular music studies Grades 1 to Grade 8, as well as the Specialised music course and Diploma course, both for advanced students. More information about these courses can be viewed on our prospectus [link].
